| This huge $1 Slot machine is in the LUXOR Hotel where we stayed during out trip to Las Vegas. And, this ONE photo is all we got before Hotel Security told us that NO PHOTOS were allowed inside the casino area. Needless to say, Lena did not win a jackpot. | This photo of Steve by one of the shops in the LUXORwith his digital MOVIE camera slung over his shoulder explains WHY we dont have many photos of Las Vegas on our web site. Steve got hung up taking MOVIES and failed to shoot very many STILL photos of the things we saw. (I guess well have to GO BACK!) | ||
| Hey, Mom...would you believe that it just followed us home? The Luxor had some very impressive and realistic statues throughout the interior. | Movie Manin action again. Steve had to admit that seeing himself WITHOUT the usual NIKON 35mm camera over his shoulder looked a little weird! | ||
| The EXCABILAR HOTEL and casino actually looked better at night than it did when viewed in the daylight. | Steve thought that Lenas dress went very well with the color of this dragon at the Excabilar. | ||
| Lena said she wanted her photo taken alongside this Knight In Shining Armor riding a white horse. Steve just assumed she meant this image to depict our relationship! | The BELLAGIO casino was truly impressive. And, very expensive! | ||
| But the many gardens and flowers at the BELLAGIO were beautiful to see. | And the lobby of the BELLAGIO (as seen in the background of this photo) was simply breath-taking. Now, if we ever win a B-I-G JACKPOT on some future trip to Vegas, maybe well be able to stay there for one night! | ||
| The fountains outside the MIRAGE HOTEL were one of the most memorable architectural designs we saw during our stay...especially the beautiful light shows conducted at night. | Of all the things which she saw for the first time in Las Vegas, the one which MOST impressed Lena was the BUFFET DINNER we had at the MIRAGE. After that feast, a visit to our local San Diego Hometown Buffet smorgasbord will never be quite the same! |
